Your Pet's Daily Feeding

If you are transitioning from a grain-inclusive diet, you must take time to transition your dog slowly to their new grain-free diet (1 to 2 weeks is recommended).

Divide the recommended amount to feed into two meals per day. The amount of food required each day will vary depending on breed, environment, temperament, and activity level. Dogs should be fed based on their ideal weight, not necessarily their current weight. Your Veterinarian is a great resource for information on your dog’s ideal weight and caloric requirements.

Offer pregnant females 50% more during pregnancy. Lactating females require two to three times more per day. Puppies require approximately twice as much food as same sized adult dog. Feed puppies three portions daily until 6 months old, then feed two portions daily.

Add 1/2 cup for each additional 15 lbs. Use a standard 8 oz measuring cup.
