If you are transitioning from a grain-inclusive diet, you must take time to transition your dog slowly to their new grain-free diet (1 to 2 weeks is recommended).
Divide the recommended amount to feed into two meals per day. The amount of food required each day will vary depending on breed, environment, temperament, and activity level. Overweight and Senior dogs may be fed a reduced amount, depending on the dog’s weight and activity level. Dogs should be fed based on their ideal weight, not necessarily their current weight. Your Veterinarian is a great resource for information on your dog’s ideal weight and caloric requirements.
