Feeding Instructions

Feed an amount of food for the weight the dog should weigh, not their current weight. If they need to lose a substantial amount of weight you will want to step them down gradually.

Transition Instructions

Some pets may have sensitive stomachs and could potentially experience digestive upset from a sudden diet change. Because of this, we recommend making a gradual transition between foods. Begin with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the new food mixed with 75% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet. Feed this blend for 2-3 days and then change the mix to 50% of each for 2-3 days. Then feed 75% of the recommended daily portion of the new food with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet for a final 2-3 days before fully switching.

For sensitive dogs, extend the period to 10 to 14 days.
